BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KATV) — Walmart is actively considering joining a group of investors to purchase TikTok, according to ABC.
The ban on the app, which was delayed by an executive order signed by President Donald Trump in January, is set to take effect on April 5, 2025.
Sources close to the deal say Walmart’s interest was spurred by Amazon reportedly throwing their hat into the ring. Oracle, Applovin, and OnlyFans founder Tim Stokely are also reportedly interested in joining a deal for the app.
