While appearing on a recent episode of Tamron Hall‘s morning talk show, the duo’s conversation turned from swapping holiday recipes to dishing out predictions regarding the upcoming football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
LaBelle issued her warning after Hall recalled a conversation with one of her producers regarding Monday night’s game.
“She had the nerve to say to me, ‘Well, the Chiefs are playing the Eagles and the Chiefs have Taylor Swift,'” Hall said before telling the audience, “I said ‘The Eagles got Patti LaBelle.’”
LaBelle, a Philly native, agreed with Hall, “Let me say something. Taylor, and all your Swifties, back up boo boo. The [Chiefs] are going down.”
“The Eagles are going to win,” the 79-year-old Godmother of Soul continued, “I mean, it’s a done deal. I love you Taylor but stay home.”
